One of my many frustrations when I travel is what gadgets to bring along with me. I know, I know. I’m supposed to relax when on a vacation, but, as much as I hate to admit it, I can’t live without my internet access.

Okay, I managed to survive 5 days without internet access when we went on our 5-day "amazing race" vacation up North (Pangasinan, Laoag, Vigan, Pagudpud, Baguio) in 2010. Back then, I didn’t have as much responsibilities as I do now, so I don’t think I can take 2 days without going online and checking my emails.

I’m thankful that I now have a smartphone that I can use to go online and check emails. When we went to Pagudpud, I still had my iPad with me. Even without WiFi connection, it kept me entertained. At least with my Blackberry phone, I can surf the web, check emails and go on social networking sites like usual if I have a subscribe to BB services.

I’m still contemplating on buying an iPad. Not the latest, but maybe just iPad 2. I still miss playing or browsing the web on a tablet rather than my laptop, so I’d probably bring that too, along with necessary clothes I’ll need on my next vacation or out-of-town trip, like women breeches at TheEquestrianCorner.com when we go horseback riding in Baguio or Clark, or swimwear for our Bohol trip in October. 😉
