I was on stalker mode earlier and thought of dropping by his Facebook page. Guess what. Mark Zuckerberg is now married to Priscilla Chan! Don’t believe me? Mark already changed his relationship status to Married to Priscilla Chan on his Facebook profile page. Here’s a screenshot:

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan met in Harvard. The couple have been together for over 9 years, so yes, it’s about time they get married. I’m happy to know that, again, a woman is part of the life of a very successful man. 😉 Just kidding. I’m happy for them! Look at the photo above. 🙂

If you don’t know yet, Mark just made his company Facebook public with the release of his stock offerings last Friday. It may not be as what we were all anticipating, ending at $38.23 during its debut, but, just like what Mark said (from Yahoo! News)…

"Going public is an important milestone in our history," Zuckerberg said before he pushed a button that rang Nasdaq’s opening bell from company headquarters at 1 Hacker Way in Menlo Park, Calif. "But here’s the thing: Our mission isn’t to be a public company. Our mission is to make the world more open and connected."

Okay, this post isn’t about Facebook’s IPO. It’s about Mark and Priscilla getting married. I’m glad their relationship has been kept private. Even their guests (about 100) at the wedding thought they were attending a celebration of Priscilla’s graduation from medical school at the University of California in San Francisco.

The couple tied the knot on May 19, 2012, Saturday, at a small ceremony in Mark Zuckerberg’s home in Palo Alto, California the day after the IPO. Very humbling and it’s really romantic that they kept this a secret. 🙂
